Who’s ready for the DAV 5K?

The DAV 5K is back again! This walk, roll, run and ride event is a great way to thank the men and women who have sacrificed for our freedoms.

Read what motivated previous participants to go all out for our nation’s heroes!

"What an honor and pleasure to be a
part of this year’s DAV 5K and support
all the veterans that have given so much
for our great nation!! God bless you all!!”

– Efrain Arroyo-Rosado

“It was truly an honor to run this 5K
for our veterans. They gave and continue
to give so much for this country and that
was the least we could do to show our
support for them.”
– Austin Blanton & Family

"This was my first 5K and I had the chance
to run it with my 22-year-old son. I felt that
this event is important not only to raise money
for my fellow disabled American veterans, but
to put the word out and show the world that we
are able and we care.”
 – Lawrence Caldwell

“As a U.S. Army Security Agency veteran,
I decided to go on my walk on Saturday morning.
It rained and I walked longer than a 5K because
there are many who are unable to walk and others
who are no longer around.”
– Bill LaFlamme

“I walked the DAV 5K to honor all our veterans
for their courage, strength and dedication to keeping
us safe, to include my father, son, granddaughter and
great-granddaughter.”
– Delphine Metcalf-Foster, DAV Past National Commander

Participating in the DAV 5K is a powerful way to partner with others in providing life-changing resources for veterans and their families.

Each year, people from all over the country come together for the DAV 5K to show they care about our disabled veterans and the issues they face. Will you walk, roll, run or ride next to them this year? Join us in keeping our promise to America’s veterans! Register today at DAV5K.org.
