Under the hood: interesting cars donated to DAV this past year

When you think of car donation, do you think of “junkers” or “old vehicles”? Although DAV does accept cars that are no longer running- we accept ALL types of vehicles – even deluxe cars. Here are some of the most interesting vehicles donated to DAV by patriotic and generous donors this past year:

This 2013 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic was left to DAV by a generous donor in his will, donated to DAV in May 2022.

This 2010 Ford E-150 was donated in January by a generous donor.  This vehicle had normal wear and tear with only 55,349 miles.

This 2018 Forest River Surveyor was donated to DAV in November, with beautiful interior kitchen cabinetry, a spacious pantry and a dinette.

Company Axiom Medical donated a 2020 Bravo Trailers Trailer that acted as a mobile lab during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.

Would you consider turning an “extra” or “unwanted” car into resources for our Disabled American Veterans? It could be anything – a Jaguar XJ-Series, a 2020 Toyota Corolla, a Porsche Boxster, or a Prius. These everyday cars not only help DAV's mission of keeping our promise to America’s veterans, but they also demonstrate the incredible generosity we see from donors each day. Your car donation takes some of the stress off your hands, while also giving you the satisfaction of helping our nation’s heroes – a cause near and dear to your heart. Every donation makes a difference to them!
