Our Priority: To keep the promise made to our nation's veterans

Veterans took an oath to protect us and we promised them a lifetime of support. Our #IHelpVeterans campaign is about bringing together a community of supporters who believe all veterans should have access to the resources and benefits they earned through service. By joining, you are supporting DAV's single purpose to empower all veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

How Can You Empower Veterans?

Make a gift to DAV. In 2023, our benefits specialists assisted with over 209,000 new benefit claims and DAV represented veterans received more than $28.4 billion in earned benefits.  DAV has over 250 National Service Officers (NSO) throughout the nation at over 100 offices. The services they provide every day are always offered to all veterans at no charge and with no obligation.  Without these paid staff members, who act as attorneys, DAV could not provide the quality or volume of services it offers. Your gift will not only help veterans fight for their benefits, but will also help them find meaningful employment through job fairs, provide transportation to their VA medical appointments, provide disaster relief aid, and so much more.

Take our pledge. Pledge to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their loved ones by making sure they get the care and support they earned. Take our pledge and get others involved by using #IHelpVeterans on social media.

Create your honor photo. Upload a photo of yourself, your family, or an image that represents why you support veterans and choose a design that tells the world who you support veterans for using #IHelpVeterans.

Make your voice heard. Sign up for the DAV Commander’s Action Network (CAN) to help protect the earned benefits of ill and injured veterans and their families. You will receive alerts and updates on key legislative issues directly impacting and affecting the veteran community, and through DAV CAN you can share your views and directly voice your concerns with lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
