Our Priority: To keep the promise made to our nation's veterans
Veterans took an oath to protect us and we promised them a lifetime of support. Our #IHelpVeterans campaign is about bringing together a community of supporters who believe all veterans should have access to the resources and benefits they earned through service. By joining, you are supporting DAV's single purpose to empower all veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.
How Can You Empower Veterans?
Make a gift to DAV. DAV’s roughly 250 benefits specialists are paid employees, but the services they provide every day are always offered to all veterans at no charge and with no obligation. In 2019, our benefits specialists assisted with more than 160,000 benefit claims and secured more than $23 billion dollars in benefits for service members, veterans and their families. Without these paid staff members, who act as attorneys, DAV could not provide the quality or volume of services it offers. Your gift will not only help veterans fight for their benefits, but will also help them find meaningful employment through job fairs, provide transportation to their VA medical appointments, provide disaster relief aid, and so much more.
Take our pledge. Pledge to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their loved ones by making sure they get the care and support they earned. Take our pledge and get others involved by using #IHelpVeterans on social media.
