1 Veteran, 2 Cars, 1 Million Heroes Helped

What do a 2004 Lincoln LS and a 2002 Audi have in common? To Troy Brown, they each represented a unique opportunity to provide hope to veterans in need of critical assistance. 

Troy, who’s a veteran himself, saw DAV’s Vehicle Donation program as a wonderful way to support our nation’s heroes while paying forward the invaluable lessons he learned serving in the Navy. A bonus was offloading his more than 15-year-old cars through DAV’s car donation program — which is fast, easy and features no-contact pick up and towing.

Disabled American Veterans offers many services for veterans and their families. The organization’s mission is to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. Only with your support, whether it be through the car donation program or another means, can DAV: 

• Assist veterans and their families with getting the benefits they earned

• Offer care and support during tough times and disasters

The auto donation process was so great for Troy the first time that when he wanted to donate a second vehicle, he once again reached out to Disabled American Veterans.
