How DAV helped Ed Eustace

Says Ed: I can’t say I really knew too much about DAV until I needed them. My amazing wife was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 25 years old, and I had recently gotten out of the service.

This shocking diagnosis and the long journey was financially, physically, and emotionally devastating for our family. I don’t know what we would have done without DAV.
Not only did DAV help get my disability covered, they gave me peace of mind as my wife valiantly fought her battle with cancer.

Long after we were done with my claims, after DAV had done their “job,” they helped with rent, sent food, and brought flowers while my wife was in hospice. Thanks to DAV, I didn’t have to worry about anything. I could focus on my family. I could be there for my wife.

I saw it firsthand; it’s not just a one-time deal, DAV provides a lifetime of support to veterans and their families.
